About Us

Dr. Dionisio was born in Spain, raised in Virginia Beach, and by age sixteen she aspired to be a dentist. She graduated magna cum laude from both Old Dominion University and Temple School of Dentistry.  She majored in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology at Old Dominion University and was awarded the prestigious Top Biochemistry Student of the Year for graduating number one in her class. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry in 2007 and was awarded multiple clinical excellence awards.  Dr. Dionisio is pleased to be serving the communities of Northern Virginia for over a decade.  She is conscientious in helping patients overcome their dental anxiety to achieve optimal oral health in a gentle, caring manner. Her commitment to providing patient-focused, high-quality dentistry spurred her to open her own dental practice, MA's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, PLC, est. 2010.  Dr. Dionisio is recognized as a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association, which is the highest recognition achievable in the association. She is also recognized as a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor that is only awarded to dentists who have achieved numerous hours of continuing clinical and didactic education and passing a rigorous exam. Dr. Dionisio provides a wide array of services for her patients including but not limited to dental implants with bone augmentation, sleep apnea appliances, implant-prosthetic options, Invisalign & SureSmile Clear Braces, Snap-on-Smiles, sedation dentistry, root canals, gum contouring, cosmetic veneers, crowns, bridges. She takes the greatest pleasure in seeing beautiful healthy smiles transform patients' lives. Dr. Dionisio places great importance on giving back to the community.  Dr. Dionisio provided charitable dental services abroad in the Philippines, Haiti, Santo Domingo, Santiago, and at home at the Northern Virginia dental clinic. She and her husband had volunteered weekly at Bethany House of Northern Virginia for domestic abuse survivors. For leisure, she enjoys pending time in nature, swimming, and most of all being in the company of her husband, daughter, family, and friends.

Dr Malini Abrol was born in Maryland and grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended Langley High School in McLean, VA where she was on the dance team and played the violin. She attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in religious studies. Her interest in teeth began with her orthodontic experience as a pre-teen and lead her to dental school in South Florida. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in NYC for a 1 year program for advanced education in general dentistry. She returned to the area in 2003 and has been treating patients in private practice ever since. Dr Abrol joined the Ma’s family in Sept 2020. Dr Abrol is both laser and Invisalign certified. Dr Abrol is proficient in a variety of restorative procedures including crown and bridge, cosmetic veneers and bonding, restoring implants as well as gingival contouring for esthetics. She is always looking to increase her skill set through continuing education and learning the latest techniques. Her favorite aspect of being a dentist is being able to connect to patients and help them achieve their dental goals both cosmetically and health wise. She understands most people do not like coming to the dentist and she prioritizes their comfort and always tries her best for patients to have a pain free and enjoyable visit. She is a lifelong avid sports fan of local teams, especially the Washington Football Team and Capitals. She loves traveling the globe and seeing new places, because after all life maybe short but the world is large. And she believes laughter is a key ingredient in the success of life and to remember it’s easier to smile than to frown.

Dr. Sulekha Abdi obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2013 from The Ohio State University. She was awarded with an Excellence in Restorative Dentistry and Community Outreach Awards upon graduation. She continued to practice in Ohio as well as teach dental students as an adjunct professor to her alma mater. She was also a lead associate dentist at a large practice in Detroit Michigan prior to moving to Northern Virginia. Dr. Abdi enjoys the hands-on aspect of dentistry, the gratification of relieving pain, and the artistry in transforming a patient’s smile. She is passionate about providing exceptional care including crowns, bridges, veneers, root canal therapy, conservative cosmetic dentistry and is Invisalign certified. Her love of people, dentistry and a passion to give back has sent her on various dental mission trips to Haiti, Uganda, Honduras, as well as providing dental care to local communities with limited access. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentists where she is committed to staying current with continuing education courses in order to provide the most up-to-date services for her patients. Dr. Abdi is trilingual: fluent in English, Somali, and proficient in Arabic. She loves staying active, reading, DIY projects, traveling, blogging, and cooking new recipes with her two young kids and wonderful husband.

Lindsay Williams is a native of Northern Virginia. Born and raised in Manassas, she has witnessed the area’s transformation over the last few decades. Lindsay’s background is in Accounting and Business Management. With more than 10 years of experience as a practice administrator, Lindsay is well versed in the area’s insurance plans and guidelines. Lindsay’s advanced knowledge of every aspect of the dental office enables her to provide broad guidance and training for our practice. She works hard to ensure that things run seamlessly and our patients and staff members are happy. Her favorite part of this job is helping patients navigate their benefits and finances to obtain a happy and healthy smile. When not taking care of our patients and staff, Lindsay has raised 4 amazing children and enjoys spending as much time as possible with them. 

Sue Min is originally from South Korea and is fluent in Korean and English. Sue earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dong-Ah University.  After coming to the U.S. she decided to pursue a career in dentistry earning her certificate in dental assisting. Years later she graduated from Northern Virginia Community College's Dental Hygiene program honored with the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for her excellent clinical and academic skills. Throughout her 10 years of experience in the dental field, Sue has consistently provided an unsurpassed level of personal attention and care to her patients. She regularly pursues continuing education to be able to offer the latest periodontal treatments to her patients and is committed to making sure her patients receive the best results. She is certified in diode laser therapy. Through a combination of advanced treatment methods, a tailored approach, and focused patient education, Sue is committed to serving her patients with excellence.  Sue additionally studied floral arrangement in Japan and enjoys being active in her church. During her spare time, Sue enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and gardening. We are happy to have a dedicated professional such as Sue join our team!  

Sohyung graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Biology.  She continued her education in the Dental Hygiene Program at NVCC, graduating in 2014.She followed in her mother's footsteps as a dental hygienist, and she is passionate about her career. Sohyung considers the mouth and oral hygiene to be incredibly important in systemic function and overall well-being.In her spare time, Sohyung loves traveling and spending time with her family. She is very dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all of her patients feel comfortable and leave her chair loving their smile.

Claudia was born right here in the heart of Alexandria. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. After completing her Liberal Arts degree,  she has explored the world of customer service, hospitality and social media marketing. According to Claudia, her favorite part of working in dentistry is witnessing the transformation of smiles and observing the boost of confidence patients have after achieving their personal dental goals. As treatment coordinator, she will walk you through the phases of your treatment plans, help you navigate your insurance and finance options . When not taking care of patients, she enjoys traveling with her family, attending sporting events, and dining out with family and friends.
