Claudia Cruz

Office Manager

Claudia was born and raised in the heart of Alexandria and is fluent in both Spanish and English. After earning her degree in Liberal Arts, she developed a strong background in customer service, hospitality, and social media marketing before discovering her true passion in dentistry. Claudia’s favorite part of her work is witnessing the transformation of patients’ smiles and seeing the confidence they gain when reaching their personal dental goals.

As our Office Manager, Claudia plays a vital role in leading our team and ensuring the office runs smoothly every day. Her dedication, organization, and warm approach help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside the office, Claudia enjoys traveling with her family, attending sporting events, and dining out with loved ones. We are grateful for Claudia’s leadership and enthusiasm while ensuring every patient’s experience is positive and seamless.

Sue Min

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sue is originally from South Korea and is fluent in Korean and English. Sue earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dong-Ah University. After coming to the US, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry earning her certificate in dental assisting. Years later, she graduated from Northern Virginia Community College’s Dental Hygiene program honored with the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for her excellent clinical and academic skills.

Throughout her ten years of experience in the dental field, Sue has consistently provided an unsurpassed level of personal attention and care to her patients. She regularly pursues continuing education to be able to offer the latest periodontal treatments to her patients and is committed to making sure her patients receive the best results. She is certified in diode laser therapy. Through a combination of advanced treatment methods, a tailored approach, and focused patient education, Sue is committed to serving her patients with excellence.

During her spare time, Sue enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and gardening. She additionally studied floral arrangements in Japan and enjoys being active in her church.

Sohyung McDaniel

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sohyung graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She continued her education in the dental hygiene program at NVCC, graduating in 2014. She followed in her mother’s footsteps as a dental hygienist, and she is passionate about her career. Sohyung considers your mouth and oral hygiene to be incredibly important in systemic function and overall well-being. She is very dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all of her patients feel comfortable and leave her chair loving their smile.

In her spare time, Sohyung loves traveling and spending time with her family.

Jennifer Cantu

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer was born and raised in Virginia Beach and relocated to Alexandria in August 2024 following her husband’s service in the Navy. She has been a dedicated registered dental hygienist for 16 years, inspired in part by her older sister, Dr. Janice Dionisio. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in May 2008 with honors.

She is excited for the opportunity to work alongside her sister and to be a part of the team at MA’s and is deeply committed to providing exceptional care with a gentle touch. Jennifer takes pride in building meaningful relationships with patients and strives to make them feel like part of the family.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys nurturing her faith, exploring new restaurants, traveling, playing pickleball, and cherishing time with her husband and two daughters.

Milena Martir

Insurance Coordinator

Milena was born and raised in the Alexandria area and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has worked in the dental field for over a decade – in both clinical and front-office capacities. Milena loves the surgical aspect of dentistry and is fascinated with the improvements in patients’ oral health. She enjoys being able to watch patients transform their lives with their smiles. As insurance coordinator, Milena will help you navigate your insurance benefits so that you are able to maximize them to their fullest.

When not taking care of patients, dentistry still plays a large part of her life. She is a self-proclaimed obsessive with cleaning her husky, Jack’s teeth. She also likes to spend her time hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

Courtney Grant

Treatment Coordinator

Courtney Grant is our dedicated Treatment Coordinator and an essential part of our patient care team. A proud Maryland native, she began her career in dentistry as an oral surgery treatment coordinator in 2019 and quickly developed a passion for guiding patients through their dental journeys. Courtney loves being part of the process that transforms smiles and finds it deeply rewarding to support patients every step of the way. She also assists patients in understanding and coordinating their insurance benefits, helping to make the treatment process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Outside of work, Courtney is a proud football mom to her two sons, ages 17 and 14. She enjoys swimming, karaoke, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her warm personality and genuine care make every patient feel comfortable and valued.

Miliyarde Mengesha

Dental Assistant

Miliyarde Mengesha is a proud member of MA’s Dentistry. She earned her Dental Assisting Certificate at ACT College nearly 20 years ago and has continued to advance her skills through ongoing training and workshops. Among her many accomplishments, she has completed certifications at LVI Global with a focus on assisting in full-mouth rehabilitation and smile makeovers, as well as advanced training in Oral Surgery and Implant Techniques in the Dominican Republic while supporting the doctors at MA’s.

Miliyarde is grateful that her role at MA’s Dentistry has given her the opportunity to fully apply the knowledge she gained in college along with the expertise she has developed throughout her professional career. She finds joy in working with patients and seeing the confidence and happiness that come from life-changing dental procedures.

Originally from Ethiopia, Mili has lived in Alexandria for 18 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and listening to podcasts that explore culture and spirituality.

Victoria Eduardo

Dental Assistant

Victoria is originally from Angola and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She began her dental career in 2015 and joined the MA’s Family & Cosmetic Dentistry team in 2020. Known for her caring nature, warm sense of humor, and reliability, Victoria is always ready to brighten a patient’s day. She takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visits.

Outside the office, Victoria enjoys spending time with her five children and cherishing every opportunity to create joyful memories with her family.

We are blessed to have Victoria on our team, where her dedication and positivity make a lasting difference for both patients and colleagues.

Jackeline Luna

Dental Assistant

Jackeline Luna, who prefers to go by “Luna,” was born and raised in Virginia and began her career in dentistry in 2020 when an exciting opportunity came her way, and she hasn’t looked back since. She loves connecting with patients, making them feel at home, and treating everyone like family. Luna takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and works diligently to support the team in creating healthy, confident, and beautiful smiles. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is able to connect with a wide range of patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits.

Outside the office, Luna treasures time with her family and enjoys indulging in her love of cheesecake, pasta, and all things delicious.
